Things to do in Dunoon
Nestled on the west shore of the Firth of Clyde on the Cowal Peninsula, Dunoon has some of the most magnificent scenery you will find anywhere in the UK. This beautiful town became a top holiday destination during the Victorian holiday boom, when paddle steamers brought thousands of visitors from Glasgow to enjoy the stunning scenery and local hospitality. The Waverley, the last working seagoing paddle steamer, still calls regularly at Dunoon pier.
Dunoon is also world-famous for the Cowal Games, the largest and most spectacular highland games in the world. The Games attract thousands of people each August and a must see! Click here for more info on Dunoon's attractions and things to do
We look forward to welcoming you!
